Kolinjivadi - The Name and its Fame

கொழிஞ்சிவாடியில் உள்ள சொக்கநாதர் கோவில் சன்னதியின் வாயிலில் காணப்படும் கல்வெட்டு: 13-ம் நூற்றாண்டை சேர்ந்த சுந்தர பாண்டியன் காலத்தில் காவன்-சடையம்மை வெள்ளாள தம்பதியினர் திருநிலைக்கால்(தூண்கள்) தர்மம் கொடுத்தது.

க. விஜய நகர வேந்தன் தேவராயன் - 15ம் நூற்றாண்டு காலத்தில் இவ்வூரின் (கொழிஞ்சிப்பாடி) பெயர் நரையனுர் நாடு - உடையபிராட்டி சதுர்வேதிமங்கலம் என்பதாகும் . இந்த கோவிலின் பெயர் - அழகிய சொக்கனார் கோவில் , அருகில் உள்ள இடம் அழகிய சொக்கபுரம் (இன்றைய மீனாட்சிபுரம் - சொக்கநாதபாளையம்) .

14ம் நூற்றாண்டை சேர்ந்த வீர பாண்டிய தேவரின் உபய கல்வெட்டு

கோயில் துலுக்கவாணத்தில் இறங்கல்பட்டு அதாவது இஸ்லாமியர் வெடியால் இடிந்துபட மாயநாயக்கருக்கு தர்மமாக தரங்கையா மன்றாடியார் திருப்பணி செய்து சீர்செய்தமையைக் குறிப்பிடுகிறது.

Dear Friends,

     Mr. Shri. Rajasekar proposed one nice idea as a comment which unfortunately not got published in the blog, due to some technical reasons. So, i decided to share it as a post here.

     "Like college alumni meet, why don't Kolinjivadi people settled in various places meet for a day at Kolinjivadi as thanks giving festival for a day or two every year

    During the time we can organise Krishnan kovil bhajanai, Meenakshi amman kovil abishekam and swami purappadu, preferrebly in Margazhi 2nd Saturday and Sunday or one day festival. 

    This will help us to rekindle the lost glory and get the continued blessings of our Agraharam temples.

    Catering, can be arranged in hotel as per wish, putting in this blog to get feed back from our village people and to reunite with them. 

    Participants shall donate as per their wish or can make fixed contribution every year if they attend, this will also generate some earnings for our temple Kurukkals/Priests, Caterers etc.

Local people who reside now will be very happy and they need not contribute any money but help us to conduct the festival smoothly. 

Pray GOD Palani murugan, our deities and sri mahaperiyava."

ஹரே கிருஷ்ணா! ஹரே ராமா!

               அன்பார்ந்த பக்தகோடிகளுக்கு அனந்த கோடி நமஸ்காரம். மகாபாரத காலத்தில், விராடபுரம் என்னும் பெயரில் பஞ்ச பாண்டவர்களுக்கு, அஞ்ஞாத வாசம் காலத்தில் அவர்களுக்கு உறுதுணையாய் இருந்த ஊரான தாராபுரம், உத்தரவாகினி ஆன அமராவதியும் (அதாவது தெற்கிலிருந்து வடக்கு நோக்கி ஆறு பாய்வது என்பது மிகவும் புண்ணியமாகும் மற்றும் அபூர்வமானதும்) , வ்யாஸராய தீர்த்தரால் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்ட காடு அனுமந்தராய ஸ்வாமி திருக்கோயில் மற்றும் மன்னர் கிருஷ்ணதேவராயர் காலத்தில் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்ட, ஸ்ரீ ருக்மணி சத்யபாமா சமேத ஸ்ரீ வேணுகோபால சுவாமி திருக்கோவில் போன்ற பழமையான திருக்கோயில்களும் அமைந்த ஊர் .

              மிகவும் புகழ்பெற்ற அகஸ்தீஸ்வரர் கோவில் ஒரு கரையிலும் அமராவதி ஆற்றின் மறு புறம் மிக சிறப்பான வடிவமைப்பு கொண்ட கொளிஞ்சிவாடி கிராமத்தின் மையத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள கிருஷ்ணர் கோயில் என்கின்ற வேணுகோபால சுவாமி திருக்கோயிலுமாகும்.

         கேட்டவர்க்கு கேட்கும் வரம் அருளும் இக்கோவிலில் கடந்த 80 வருடங்களாக ஸ்ரீராமநவமி உற்சவம் பத்து நாட்களுக்கு மேல் சீதா கல்யாண வைபவத்துடன் வெகு சிறப்பாகக் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வந்தது. சமீபகாலமாக போதிய ஆள் வசதி இல்லாததாலும் வேறு சில காரணங்களாலும் ஓரிரு வருடம் தடை ஏற்பட்டது. எம்பெருமான் அனுகிரகத்தால் எல்லோர் மனதிலும் ஏற்பட்ட உத்வேகத்தில், மேற்படி ஸ்ரீராமநவமி மற்றும் சீதா கல்யாண வைபவம் நிகழும் விகாரி வருடம் சித்திரை மாதம் 21, 22-ஆம் நாள் ஆங்கில மாதம் மே 4 மற்றும் 5, 2019 சனிக்கிழமை மற்றும் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை தேதிகளில் நடத்த ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது .

திருச்சி ஸ்ரீமான் ரமணி பாகவதர் அவர்கள் தலைமையில் சம்பிரதாய பஜனை மற்றும் சீதா கல்யாண உற்சவம் நடத்தி கொடுக்க இசைந்துள்ளார்கள். ஆகவே பக்தகோடிகள் அனைவரும் நேரில் வருகை தந்து மேற்படி வைபவத்தில் கலந்துகொண்டு எம்பெருமான் அனுக்கிரகத்திற்கு பாத்திரமாகும்படி வேண்டிக் கொள்கிறோம்.

Sri Rama Navami Celebrations - 2019

Dear Friends and Relatives,
